IRISS SEE Sessions (SEE | Enlighten | Engage) are a core part of IRISS’s Creative Quarter project, which aims to explore creativity and its use for improved social services.
The series of events has been designed to highlight evidence, as well as providing engaging practical demonstrations to entice you to consider the application of this practice within your own setting.
The following sessions are now open for booking:
1. Creative practice as research, and research as creative practice
Facilitated by Alison Urie, this interactive workshop for social services sector practitioners and artists, will explore the overlap between creative practice and learning.
2. “When you learn design, you learn life”: young people as designers of change
Facilitated by Hot Chocolate Trust, this session will explore the practical implications of design for engaging, planning, working and learning from young people.
3. Impact Arts: creative pathways
Facilitated by Impact Arts, this SEE session will provide the opportunity for participants to experience first hand the creative pathways approach and delivery methods which build confidence, communication and team work skills.
We hope to see you there!
