This year, we are translating this learning into practice by working with a small group of inspectors and 7 care homes for adults to implement improvement projects. We will be identifying small improvement projects (from improving the dining experience for residents to improving staff confidence in relation to dementia care) to undertake using the tools. By working with other organisations and inspectors who are invested in positive change, we hope to build relationships and communities of support.
