ESSS has been looking into the research around evidence-based practice (EBP) in social work. In this post, we’ll be sharing some of the key issues highlighted in the literature. Generally, there is a lot of discussion around the barriers to EBP. These tend to be focused around the evidence itself, practitioners and organisations, and we’ve summarised some of these issues here.
After a busy couple of weeks with a huge interest in our work, we’re very excited to share the first outputs from the Evidence Search and Summary Service: ESSS Outlines. The first three topics have been: disability hate crime reporting; child sexual abuse; and parental substance misuse.
