Welcome to Relationships Matter!
Would you like to develop ideas that support workers maintain positive nurturing relationships with young people who are leaving care? If so, we The Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (IRISS), would like to work with you on this project.
This project provides a space where people can:
- Read about what can support long lasting relationships
- Submit evidence (including success stories) about what positively supports workers relationships with young people
- Apply to challenge a barrier that is faced when trying to maintain positive nurturing relationships with young people who are leaving care by 14th November
Successful applicants will receive an invitation to attend the Relationships Matter Jam and define and develop ideas that challenge the barrier you experience. We will share all the ideas developed at the Jam session on this website, and expect people who attend to explore how their idea can be embedded in practice. After the JAM we will welcome applications from attendees for further support.
