{"id":1097,"date":"2015-03-27T12:58:02","date_gmt":"2015-03-27T12:58:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.iriss.org.uk\/relationships-matter\/?p=1097"},"modified":"2015-04-15T11:08:11","modified_gmt":"2015-04-15T10:08:11","slug":"to-summarise-what-we-have-acheived-between-2014-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.iriss.org.uk\/relationships-matter\/2015\/03\/27\/to-summarise-what-we-have-acheived-between-2014-15\/","title":{"rendered":"To summarise what we have acheived between 2014 -&#8217;15&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.iriss.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/image-for-mailout.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Between 2014-&#8217;15 the Innovation and Improvement programme ran a project called Relationships Matter which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raised awareness about evidence that indicates how relationships are positively supported during times of transition in people\u2019s lives<\/li>\n<li>Supported young people and practitioners develop ideas that address obstacles that prevent young people develop and continue relationships with significant people in their lives as they leave care<\/li>\n<li>Created a collective of people who want to demonstrate how practitioners and organisations can prioritise relational based practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also created a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.iriss.org.uk\/relationships-matter\/\">website<\/a> so people can i) <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.iriss.org.uk\/relationships-matter\/evidence\/\">submit evidence<\/a> about how relationships can be positively supported during times of transition in young people\u2019s lives, and ii) <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.iriss.org.uk\/relationships-matter\/jam\/\">view the ideas<\/a> that young people and practitioners developed to support relationships continue with significant people in young people&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n<p>Which leads me to encourage you to <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.iriss.org.uk\/relationships-matter\/jam\/\">check out the ideas the teams at the Relationships Matter JAM co-designed and prototyped!<\/a> All of which address obstacles that prevent young people develop and continue relationships with significant people in their lives as they leave care. Go our teams!!!<\/p>\n<p>The members of these teams are piloting their ideas in practice and also want to continue to meet to support one another and push a relational approach to care forward. IRISS has committed to continuing to supporting the new Relationships Matter collective to come together and we are it the process of working out how best to go about this in 2015-&#8217;16.
