Children and young people who have been involved in the care system experience some of the poorest outcomes of all young people in the UK.<\/p>\n

For many, the disadvantages they face persist throughout their lives which can be detrimental for individuals, families (including the next generation), communities and society as a whole.<\/p>\n

The guide<\/a>\u00a0provides advice, practical examples and sources of further information and support if you are looking to engage and support this group through your youth project. It is based on findings from research carried out by GEN Consulting and Wavehill Consulting.<\/p>\n
