On 28 October 2015, Iriss had a launch event to showcase the findings of The View from Here project. The event:
- shared the quantitative and qualitative findings of the project
- provided an overview of the frontline worker perspective
- celebrated the work of the social services workforce
- challenged people to consider what needs to happen in order to maintain a competent, confident and valued workforce

Lisa Pattoni from Iriss presents the findings of the workforce survey, a piece of quantitative research undertaken in partnership with The Guardian.
Ian Cunningham and Colin Lindsay from the University of Strathclyde present the qualitative findings of the research.
Catherine-Rose Stock-Rankin and Rhiann McLean from Iriss present the findings of the cultural probe (diary work) completed by 74 practitioners. This focused on the emotional experiences of working in social services.
